New Delhi, April 15. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared Class 10 Phase 1 results on April 15, 2026. Class 12 results are expected by the third week of May.

How to check results

Results are available on three official platforms:
• cbseresults.nic.in (main website)
• UMANG app
• DigiLocker

Students need their roll number, admit card ID, and school code to log in. DigiLocker marksheets can be verified digitally.

Two-phase exam pattern

CBSE has adopted a new two-phase exam pattern since 2024 — Class 10 Phase 1 in February-March and Phase 2 in September. It gives students more flexibility.

Class 12 awaited

CBSE Class 12 exams were held in February-April 2026. The latest information suggests results will be announced by the third week of May (approximately May 19-22). The board has not yet confirmed an official date.

DigiLocker marksheets accepted

Most colleges and universities accept DigiLocker marksheets for provisional admission. This saves students time and removes the need to wait for original certificates.

Emphasis on mental health

CBSE has paid particular attention to student mental health this time. The board has stopped releasing topper names — an effort to reduce exam-related stress and competition.

Compartment and improvement exams

Students who failed or wish to improve their results can take the compartment exam at the end of June. As per the latest CBSE rule, students can now improve their results in any subject.
