Mumbai, April 24. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) reported Q4 FY26 net profit of ₹16,971 crore, down 12.55% from ₹19,407 crore in the year-ago period.

Strong revenue growth

However, revenue from operations climbed 13% to ₹2,98,621 crore. Strong performance from digital services and retail powered the top-line growth, while compressed margins in oil-to-chemicals (O2C) hit the bottom line.

Full-year picture

For the full FY26, net profit rose 16% to ₹80,775 crore on revenue of ₹10,75,675 crore — the largest annual revenue ever for an Indian private company.

Jio Platforms' dominance

Jio Platforms' Q4 net profit rose 13% to ₹7,935 crore. Jio's subscriber base crossed 515 million, including 253 million 5G users. AirFiber subscribers also crossed 25 million.

Retail and green energy

Reliance Retail revenue rose 7% to ₹76,991 crore. The first phase of the new green-energy project — a 1,000 GW solar panel factory at Jamnagar — went live this quarter. Mukesh Ambani reiterated the goal of making green energy Reliance's third major pillar by 2030.

Dividend and investor reaction

The board recommended a dividend of ₹6 per equity share. The market reaction was mixed — the stock fell 1.2% on the day but remains up 8% year-to-date.
