Dharamsala, May 11. Delhi Capitals beat Punjab Kings by 3 wickets in a thriller at HPCA Stadium on Monday in IPL 2026's 55th match. It is DC's second-highest successful chase in IPL history.

Punjab's total

Punjab batted first and put up 210/5. Priyansh Arya scored 56 off 33 and captain Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 59 off 32. Sikandar Raza added 22 in the closing overs.

Delhi's chase

Chasing 210, Delhi reached 216/7 in 19 overs. After early setbacks, Axar Patel and David Miller put on a 95-run stand. Miller scored 51 off 28 and Axar 56 off 34.

Tense final over

Delhi needed 12 off the last over. Axar Patel hit 6, 4, and 2 off the first three balls to finish things off. Cameron Green remained unbeaten as DC sealed the win.

Punjab's fourth straight loss

It is Punjab Kings' fourth consecutive defeat, falling further behind in the playoff race. After the match, captain Shreyas Iyer said, "210 was a defendable score but our bowlers couldn't bring consistency."

What it means for Delhi

Delhi Capitals now sit fifth on 10 points and remain in the playoff race. With wins in their remaining matches and the right results elsewhere, they can still book a top-four berth.
